On the plain around the town of Eldoret Sergoit Hill stands out, still dwarfing the new highrise buildings of this rapidly developing town. The town hall is surrounded by factories, shops, hotels. Farming which is the mainstay of Eldoret, is well represented as is the Golf course with the Ibis which is the Club symbol. Plenty of bird life is shown, also flowers which are now cultivated for export as well as the wild life is shown. Also flowers which are now cultivated for export as well as the wild variety. The aeroplane represents the old airstrip and the new airrport. In the middle of the picture as before we have a runner, not the 'postman' of the previous tapestry. He has graduated to present the famous Kenyan atletes who are known worldwide and come from this area.
